Child Sexual Exploitation

This course is designed so that participants understand their role and responsibilities in relation to keeping children and young people safe from sexual exploitation, and know how to respond appropriately when sexual exploitation is suspected.

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Explain what is meant by 'Sexual Exploitation'
  • Identify the relevant KSCMP procedures
  • Identify the indicators of sexual exploitation and the factors that make children vulnerable
  • Know what to do when they have concerns that a child or young person may be at risk of sexual exploitation
