Allegation management: the role of the LADO
This session has been developed for managers and designated practitioners working across the children and young people's workforce in Kent. It will identify the relevant procedures that should be used in respect of all cases in connection with the persons employment, or voluntary activity where it is alleged that a person who works with children and young people has:
- behaved in a way that has harmed a child or young person, or may have harmed a child or young person
- possibly committed a criminal offence against or related to a child or young person
- behaved towards a child or young person in a way that indicates they may pose a risk of harm to children and young people
- behaved in a way that indicates they may not be suitable to work with children (includes transfer of risk, risk by association).
This course will be delivered via Microsoft Teams.
