Executive board
The primary objective of the KSCMP Executive Board is to bring together the three statutory safeguarding partners to lead children's safeguarding and the promotion of child welfare in Kent. The three safeguarding partners (Kent County Council, Kent Police and Health) share this responsibility equally.
The purpose of the Executive Board is to ensure that:
- the legal requirements of Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2018 are met
- children are safeguarded and receive the support that they require in a timely and appropriate manner
- all agencies who contribute to safeguarding activity are clear on their responsibilities and receive the relevant training and information
- the public have confidence in the ability of relevant professionals to keep children safe.
