Training charges

To support the long-term sustainability of the KSCMP Learning and Development programme, £50 training administration charge will apply from 1st April 2026 for anyone attending a face-to-face or virtual delivered course who is from an organisation that does not financially contribute to the Partnership.

Key information:

  • The  £50 charge applies per attendance on a face-to-face or delivered course for non-financially contributing organisations.
  • Financially contributing organisations are exempt from the charge (the full list can be found below). If your organisation is not listed by name, you are not exempt.
  • Details on how to pay the charge is included in the booking information for each course within MeLearning. Learners have 7-days from the date of booking to pay the charge (or contact the KSCMP Business Team if longer is required) or the space will be automatically cancelled.
  • There are some courses the charge does not apply to (for example, those delivered by the Kent and Medway Prevent Team) - details  can be found in the training catalogue, as well as in the booking information in the MeLearning portal.
  • E-learning and recorded webinars remain free for all learners.
  • A £50 non-attendance fee will be issued to anyone who fails to attend a face-to-face or virtual delivered courses without notifying the KSCMP Business Team in advance. For attendees who pay the training administration charge (as above) the charge will be forfeited, instead of a non-attendance fee being issued. A non-attendance fee will still be issued for non-attendance by attendees that are exempt from the training administration charge.
  • Small voluntary, community and not-for-profit organisations may be able to apply for an exemption, based on financial hardship. The criteria and application process provide further information.
