Kent Practice Framework
Working Together to Safeguard Children 2026 makes clear that successful outcomes for children rely on help, support, and protection at the right time. The Kent Practice Framework has been endorsed by KSCMP and provides a consistent foundation for working in partnership, with:
- common goals
- common values
- a common language
The Practice Framework supports the implementation of the Families First programme in Kent, meaning that no matter which agency is working with a family, the support will be underpinned by the same principles.
The below video provides an overview of the Kent Practice Framework.
The multi-agency Practice Framework elearning module can be found in the KSCMP training portal and provides an abridged overview of the Kent Practice Framework. It is for anyone working with children and families or working with agencies that work with children and families, and who need to share information and work collaboratively. To access the elearning module, login to the KSCMP training portal and search for 'Kent Practice Framework'.
